Recycling at St. Joseph’s

St. Joseph’s GNS will be recycling Christmas cards, stamps and batteries.

Please send these items into school now. The school is also starting a new initiative where they will collect and organise the recycling of printer and toner cartridges.

Some of them will help the Jack and Jill Foundation and some will be recycled locally at Cartridge World in Portlaoise; for this the school will receive €1 per cartridge.

Removal, officiated by Fr. Dunphy, CC, and Fr. Jim O’Connell, took place from St. Vincent’s Hospital to St. Mary’s Church, Clonaghadoo, on Wednesday, December 28. Fr. Francis McNamara, PP, officiated at the funeral Mass on Thursday, assisted by Fr. Tony McEvoy, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemeter, Clonaghadoo.
