The registration of Mountmellick Juvenile GAA will take place in the clubhouse in Acragar on Saturday, February 21 from 1-3 pm.

All existing and new members please attend. Parents with any queries please contact John O’Neill.

Mountmellick Tennis Club

The above club is running a multi-sports camp from Monday, February 16 to Friday, February 20 for 6-12 year olds. This will be held indoors and outdoors. Anyone interested please contact Bryan.

Macra Panto

It will shortly be panto time again in Mountmellick with Macra staging Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for five nights in their newly extended hall in Patrick Street. The light entertainment group will take to the stage on Wednesday, February 18 for the opening night and will continue to provide hilarity until Sunday, February 22.

Macra’s previous pantos have been great nights of entertainment with music, song and dance and comedy to have the audience going home with their sides aching from laughter and this promises to be as good if not better. So get your tickets early in O’Gorman’s to ensure you don’t miss a great night out.

Lourdes

Names and deposits are now being taken for this year’s parish pilgrimage to Lourdes from August 13 to 18. All in fare is 600. For booking please contact Mrs Ann Hanlon.
