Mountmellick Active Retirement

The above group would like to thank the Ballinakill group for a lovely evening spent with them last week. They met up and all went out to Heywood Community School for a walk around the gardens. They are magnificent at the moment. The Rose garden is beautiful. There are hundreds of blooms on every rose bush. There are lovely walks laid out and lined with flowers each side and several small gardens. They have acres of ground in well cut lawns as well.

The group then returned to Ballinakill to have tea outdoors with Teasie, lots of home baking. It was welcome. Later the group wnet across to Delaneys, where there was a live band and all the tunes and songs of the fifties and sixties. Many thanks to Ballinakill for a wonderful time.
