Reading with a mission
Over the past few years St Joseph’s GNS had been a loyal supporter of the MS Readathon. For this year they have decided not to do this particular readathron but formulate one of their own with all the money going to Sr Mary Lucey, a Presentation sister in Zambia.
To date the girls of 6th class have raised €700, through the sale of Christmas tags, plants etc. This had already being forward to Zambia. The girls from 1st and 6th classes will take part in “Reading with a Mission”. They can read any books they wish and ask friends and family neighbours for sponsorship. The reading date began on Friday, January 17 and ends on Friday February 7.
Please lend your support to this very worthy cause.
