A brief history of the Rock GAA Club
The first AGM of The Rock GAA Club ws held in 1970 in the Rock national school.

Treasurer: Paddy Delaney
The club first Entered the junior championship in 1970, where in their first match they played against Emo. The Club make an impact with an excellent victory.
The Club won the Junior Championship in 1979 They defeated Ballinakill in
the final, which was played in O'Moore Park.
Captain: Noel Dunphy Vice-Captain: John Deegan
The Rock won the intermediate championship in 1996 defeating
St. Michaels in a replayed final in Stradbally
Captain: Leo Storey Manager: Niall Tully
Won First Juvenile Championship in 1990, Defeating The Harps in the U-12
B Championship in O'Moore Park
